Films i 2014:
#107 - Eva - Dir. Joseph Losey (1962)Highly recommended, very entertaining movie about a cold hard bitch who takes a very stupid man for all he’s got. This guy is so stupid, the worse she treats him the more he wants her — Ha! he deserves everything he gets!

#104 - The Thing Called Love - Dir. Peter Bogdanovich (1993)

Ugh, this movie STUNK! I mean, I knew it’d be bad cause The Bog hasn’t made a good movie since like Paper Moon (unless you think Mask is a good movie?). But this movie was beyond bad. In the immortal words of Enid Coleslaw “It’s so bad it’s gone past good and back to bad again.”

#103 - Racing with the Moon - Dir. Richard Benjamin (1984)
"Right here, clear across my goddamn chest."
I’ll watch any old shit if Nicholas Cage is involved.

#102 - Public Speaking* - Dir. Martin Scorcese (2010)
This still isn’t actually from the movie but it’s such a great photo I couldn’t help myself.
*Rewatched on a really shitty day to make myself feel better. I felt better.

Films in 2014:

#101 - Beware of a Holy Whore - Dir. Rainer Werner Fassbinder (1971)

This was the best scene, where they’d been drinking all night and the sun was rising and they’re all staggering around and fighting and dancing and screaming at each other. I felt giddy watching it.

Films in 2014:
#100 - Escape From Alcatraz - Dir. Don Siegel (1979)
This is the paper mache head that Clint Eastwood used to pretend to be him asleep while he busted out of Alcatraz. Spot on. Looks exactly like him!

#98 - America’s Sweethearts - Dir. Joe Roth (2001)

It just occurred to me that Christopher Walken’s look in this movie might’ve been a homage to Hal Ashby? Also his name is Hal, duh.
